A southern Sydney dad has been gifted an unforgettable Christmas present, $10,000 tucked into a card from his now favourite employee. 

The winning $1 Christmas Gift Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Menai Newsagency, Shop 38M Menai Marketplace, 152-194 Alison Crescent, Menai. 

Sharing his excitement with us, the overjoyed man explained how he came to hold the winning ticket. 

“It was a Christmas gift from one of my staff members,” he began to explain. 

“It was tucked away in a Christmas card and I scratched it when I got home from our work party. 

“I scratched it and won $10,000. I couldn’t believe it! 

“I read the instructions over and over to make sure it was right. 

“I was very excited and happy. It’s certainly a Christmas gift I will never forget!” 

When asked what the rest of the year looked like with a spare $10,000, the young dad said it would be the best Christmas yet. 

“It’s obviously come at such a great time of the year,” he said. 

“This will really change Christmas for us. 

“We’ll be able to pay all our bills and get lots of Christmas presents for the kids. 

“I’ll also book a holiday for our family. 

“It definitely helps in a big way!”
