A woman from South Adelaide was thrilled to have won one of four $10,000 prizes just by choosing between heads, evens and tails!

The woman won $10,000 after adding Keno Coin Toss to her regular Keno entries and then entering her ticket number into the Flip Your Way to $10,000 Keno Coin Toss promotion.

The happy winner was so surprised when she received the phone call from SA Lotteries this morning to break the news that she was $10,000 richer that she fell silent for several moments before exclaiming.

“Oh my god! That is huge! Oh wow!” the woman gleefully cried.

“You have no idea how much this means – it’s such a huge amount to me, it will really help me out!”

When asked how the thrilled winner planned to spend her $10,000 Keno windfall she said that she would put it to good use.

“I need to do so many things at the moment like fixing up my car and a few other things, this amount will just really help.

“I’m hoping to treat myself too, I’d love to go and get my hair done as a nice treat.”

Keno Coin Toss allows you to select heads, evens or tails based on where you believe the 20 winning Keno numbers will be placed on the grid.

For the chance to win one of four $10,000 cash prizes, Keno players were required to enter their ticket number with five or more consecutive Keno Coin Toss draws on the one ticket into the promotion between 1 July to 21 July.

Last financial year, there were 27 Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners across South Australia who landed more than $5.98 million. Spot 10 was won twice during this time, remarkably both on the same day, 1 May 2017.

Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80.

To win a Keno Spot 8 prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
