A Mount Pritchard woman is “over the moon” at this afternoon’s surprise discovery that she won almost $700,000 in last night’s Lotto Strike draw.

Remarkably, the woman won the division one prize of $694,587.20 with a free ticket she won in a Lotto Strike draw last week.

While the regular player had registered her entry, NSW Lotteries had been unable to speak with the winner to confirm her win until this afternoon.

The woman, who regularly adds on a Lotto Strike game to her Lotto entries for an extra chance to win, was one of two winners from New South Wales in Lotto Strike draw 4372 on Monday 24 July 2017.

“Thank you very much!  I appreciate it. I’m over the moon!” the woman exclaimed when her win was confirmed.

“I got one of the numbers on Lotto Strike last week so I got a free ticket and that’s what won it for me last night.  Usually I check my entry the night of the draw but last night I forgot!

“I play Lotto Strike every week.  The most I’ve ever won is $600 and that was on Lotto Strike too!”

While news of the win was still fresh, the woman knew exactly how she was going to spend her Lotto Strike windfall.

“I want to pay off some debts, buy a car and buy a property.  I’m not going to blow it on holidays and all the rest of it – it’s not worth it!”

The woman’s winning 1-game Lotto Strike entry was from Mount Pritchard Newsagency, 55 Meadows Road, Mount Pritchard.

Mount Pritchard Newsagency owner Peter Sisavanh said the outlet was thrilled one of its customers was a Lotto Strike winner.

“It’s always great to see one of our customers win!  It’s been a while since we’ve had a division one win so it was high time!” he said.

“Another one of our customers came in today and told us they won division two in Set for Life last night too so it’s been a winning day!”

The winning numbers in Lotto Strike draw 4372 on Monday 24 July 2017 were 39, 1, 13 and 20.

Lotto Strike is an add-on game that is played with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Lotto and can be played for as little as $1.10.

Lotto Strike’s division one prize is won by selecting the first four Lotto numbers in the exact order they are drawn in the Lotto draw.

If you match just one, two or three of the first four Lotto balls, in exactly the same order drawn, you’ll also win a prize. If no one picks all four winning numbers in the draw, the Lotto Strike Jackpot prize pool will jackpot to the next draw.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 224 so far this calendar year, including 61 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
