Lockdown is looking a lot brighter for a Chester Hill father who received a life-enhancing phone call that he’d won $100,000 in this morning’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Southern Sydney resident won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10493, drawn Wednesday 29 September 2021.

As well as winning the 1st Prize, the New South Wales winner also won a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting their total windfall to $102,000.

The winner was oblivious to his good fortune until we called to break the thrilling news.

“Wow! Really? Is this true?’ the stoked bloke laughed.

“I had no idea I’d won $102,000! I’m very happy.

“This is a shock. A surprise. I can’t wait to tell my daughter. She will be over the moon for me.

“At this stage, I can’t do much celebrating as I’m in lockdown. However, this has made my lockdown a bit brighter.”

When asked how he might enjoy his lottery windfall, the joyful man said he already knew exactly what he would do.

“The prize will go into savings and will be a big help to my family in the future,” he shared.

“I can’t thank you enough.”

His winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased at Chester Square Newsagency, Shop 14A, 1 Leicester St Chester Square, Chester Hill.

Chester Square Newsagency Manager Victor Li said everyone at the newsagency was feeling ecstatic for the winner.

“This is the sixth winning entry our store’s had in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw over the last 20 years that we’ve been open. We think we might be a lucky newsagency!” he said.

“It has been two years since we’ve sold our last one. We need to keep the winning streak alive!

“It makes us very happy when we sell a winning ticket, especially to know that we’ve helped a regular customer.

“A big congratulations to the winner!”
