A Muswellbrook woman finishing up her workday yesterday received the ultimate payday she didn’t see coming her way – a $100,000 win in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The Upper Hunter Region resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10548, drawn 4 April 2022.

So far in 2022, seven major Lucky Lotteries prizes have landed in the Hunter and Central Coast region collectively worth $700,000.

“Oh lord, oh wow!!” she yelled when her prize was confirmed by our team late yesterday.

“The most I’ve ever won is $18,000, so to win $100,000 is amazing.

“This means so much. Things have been tough lately, and the pandemic certainly hasn’t helped.

“I think I’m done work for the day. This has convinced me to go clock off earlier than expected.

“I’ll have to ring my husband and my children to tell them the news. They won’t believe it!

“We’re all going on a family holiday soon and this will come just in time.

“My children and grandchildren are my priority, so I’ll definitely help them with the prize.

“Who knows, maybe this is a sign to retire!

“As soon as I come home from work, I’m going to have a glass or two of bubbly to celebrate.”

Her winning entry of 4 random numbers was purchased at Scone Newsagency, 169 Kelly Street, Scone.

Scone Newsagency owner David O’Donnell said the team was excited a loyal customer picked up a winning ticket from their outlet.

“It’s always wonderful when our customers win big, especially when they’re local! We’ve recently relocated our store, so it’s great when our customers follow and support us,” he said.

“We’re over the moon for the winner and wish them a big congratulations!”
