A Bucca man who became an overnight Gold Lotto millionaire has revealed his late dad had a premonition someone in the family would win big one day.

The Bundaberg region resident held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4125, drawn Wednesday 27 October 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $1 million.

So far this year, there have been six division one winning entries in the Wide Bay-Burnett region collectively worth more than $5.5 million.

When we contacted the man this morning, he had absolutely no idea his life had changed forever.

“Gee whiz! Oh mate! Unbelievable,” he happily yelled.

“You’re making me cry. Jesus. This has changed my whole world.

“My father, who passed away 10 years ago, always knew someone in the family would win Lotto. I hope he’s looking down on me today.

“I just pulled in the shopping car park to check the results as I had no internet at home. I didn’t expect this.

“It’s been an incredibly tough year for my family. I can’t wait to tell my wife; she won’t believe me!

“My son especially has been struggling. He’s been in and out of work all year due to the pandemic, and now I know that I can set him up.

“We’ve always looked to purchase a motor home, and we can do this now! We can travel!

“My head will be spinning all day. I can’t think straight.”
