One Logan shopper won $10 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw, but they may not know they’re now starting 2018 as a multi-millionaire as their entry was unregistered.

The Queensland winner was one of four division one winners nationally in last night’s Oz Lotto $40 million jackpot, draw 1246 on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

Each won a division one prize of $10 million. The entry was purchased at Tobacco Station Cornubia, Shop T11, Cornubia Shopping Centre, 68 Beenleigh-Redland Road, Loganholme.

But as the entry was unregistered, the identity of the new multi-millionaire remains a mystery and Golden Casket officials have no way to contact them.

Golden Casket is urging anyone who purchased an entry in last night’s Oz Lotto draw to check their ticket.

Golden Casket spokesperson Matt Hart said the new multi-millionaire could be a local resident or simply someone who had stopped to buy their entry at Cornubia Shopping Centre.

“Someone out there woke up this morning a multi-millionaire – but they may not know it yet!” he said.

“Imagine how you could kick-start your plans for 2018 with an incredible $10 million in your bank account!

“We can’t wait to confirm this whopping prize with our mystery winner!  Just imagine how $10 million could change your life in 2018, and the lives of your nearest and dearest.

“There are 10 million reasons why anyone who purchased an entry in last night’s draw from the Logan region should check their ticket this morning.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning Oz Lotto entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”

Golden Casket reminds players of the importance of registering their tickets to a Winners Circle Card so all of their prizes are secure and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto’s $40 million draw 1246 on Tuesday 2 January 2018 were 8, 26, 1, 12, 30, 43 and 28. The supplementary numbers were 7 and 11.

Last financial year, 18 Oz Lotto winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions won more than $182 million.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 229 so far this financial year, including 57 won by Golden Casket customers.
