A Myrtle Bank woman has confessed to still being in shock after discovering she was now a multi-millionaire after winning the huge division one prize of $10,000,000 in Oz Lotto. 

The woman was the only division one winner in Oz Lotto draw 1250 on Tuesday 30 January 2018 and takes home a division one prize of $10,000,000. 

Speaking with SA Lotteries official this morning to confirm her win the thrilled woman described her disbelief when she checked her ticket. 

“Oh my god! This is just not real! This is life changing this is crazy!” she exclaimed. 

“I don’t usually check my tickets, but my partner isn’t happy at work which is why I bought the ticket. 

“So I said, hang on let me just check online if we won. I logged on and saw we had won and thought it must just be a few dollars. Then I saw the amount and thought this can’t be right! 

“It took me about an hour to let I sink in but I kept repeating ‘this can’t be right - this can’t be right!’ 

“We didn’t want to jinx it because we thought it couldn’t be true but we cracked a bottle of champagne to celebrate. 

“We didn’t get much sleep! It’s unbelievable! 

“You keep saying $10,000,000 but I still can’t believe it!" 

When asked how the woman planned to use her $10,000,000 Oz Lotto windfall she confessed it would change her family’s lives for years to come. 

“It will change my family’s life significantly! My partner will quit work and we’ve got children so it will change their future too. 

“I love my job so I won’t quit my job but it means my partner can. 

“We are going to pay the house off and sit for a while and think about what to do next.” 

The over-the-moon winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com. 

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1250 on Tuesday 30 January 2018 were 24, 12, 45, 5, 40, 31 and 2.  The supplementary numbers 30 and 16. 

Last financial year, 18 Oz Lotto winning entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions won more than $182 million.  

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 255 so far this financial year, including 22 won by SA Lotteries customers.
