This Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw is offering Australians a humungous $40 million!

It’s hard to believe the last time we saw a $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot was seven months ago!

To celebrate Oz Lotto reaching exciting heights in 2019, we’re looking back on the last decade of draws and our winners who shared a slab of the $40 million division one prize.

The last time a $40 million Oz Lotto jackpot was won was back in January 2018, when four division one winning entries took home a huge $10 million each. 

One of these winners was a Gold Coast couple who didn’t discover their win until almost a week after the draw!

The self-confessed grey nomads were travelling around Australia when they finally thought to check their Oz Lotto ticket that had been safely stored in their glove box.

“Oh Jesus!” the man exclaimed when we confirmed he was now a multi-millionaire.  

The couple planned to continue travelling our sunburnt country and buy the caravan of their dreams to complete their all Aussie adventure. 

One of the other division one winners in this draw was a woman on holidays in Wodonga who had a hard time believing the news. 

“Ten million what? Ten million dollars, did you just say that? Calm down! Oh my god, oh my god. Ok, I have to sit down! 

“Oh my god! I’m so happy! I’m crying but laughing too at the same time. Thank you very much!”

The thrilled winner was on holidays when we broke the news to her. She told us there would be many more holidays on the horizon.
