A Bacchus Marsh family have confessed to ‘walking on air’ after scoring a division one prize of almost a million dollars in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The private syndicate entry was one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3987, drawn Saturday 5 October 2019. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $973,232.37.

When speaking with us to confirm the win, the syndicate leader and family matriarch said she was thrilled by the news.

“When I told the family we won they were very happy indeed!” she laughed.

“We’ve all been walking on air since!

“It’s a family syndicate that has been running for years.

“It will go a long way to setting our family up for the future.”

The winning family, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning 18-game marked entry at Bacchus Marsh Newsagency, 138 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh.

Bacchus Marsh Newsagency owner Pete Drever said he was absolutely estatic when he discovered the division one news.

“We are so thrilled the win has changed the lives of a local family for the better!” he exclaimed.

“It’s what dreams are made of.

“We have decorated the store and will be talking to all of our customers about the win. We are sure they will be as excited as we are.

“This is the fifth division one winning entry we have sold in eleven years. The last was in March 2016.

“We’d like to pass on our sincere congratulations to the winners. What an amazing week it will be for them!”
