A Doncaster East woman is spending her first week as a newly minted millionaire planning home renovations after scoring $1.9 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Victorious Victorian held one of the three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4241, drawn Saturday 12 March 2022. Each entry takes home $1,982,426.40.

So far in 2022, there have been six division one winning entries in the Melbourne’s east, collectively worth more than $10.6 million.

Speaking to us this morning, the elated woman relayed how the life-changing discovery came about.

“Straight after the draw on Saturday night, I checked my entry before bed and that’s when I discovered I’d won $1.9 million! I was shocked!” she laughed.

“We’ve been playing for years and years, so it’s nice to know that it’s paid off! You always dream of winning, but you never know if it will really come true.

“I still haven’t had the chance to tell any family members as I’ve been trying to process the win myself.

“The first person I’ll tell is my husband. I can just imagine; he will be very happy.

“It brings a bit of light to our lives, especially during the pandemic.

“Thank you! Thank you!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her newfound wealth, the Melbourne winner said she couldn’t wait to put it towards some house remodelling.

“I’m not entirely sure what I’ll spend all the prize on, but I know I’ll put some towards house renovations! We will see where it takes us.”
