Two Gold Coast residents have had a weekend they’ll never forget after each scored division one in the weekend’s Gold Lotto draw.

The two Queenslanders each held one of the 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4327, drawn Saturday 7 January 2023. Each division one winning entry scored $909,090.91.

A Burleigh Heads man has confessed he was stunned into silence by the revelation he scored more than $900,000.

“I’ve been on cloud nine all day!” he exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“My wife and I have just been over the moon.

“Wow! Oh boy! I’m still struggling to find words.

“I had another entry in the draw, and when I checked it, I’d won $7.90. Then I checked this ticket. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“I sat in silence for a couple of seconds. I raced to my wife, showed her and she went silent. She threw her arms around me. We were both just stunned.

“I tell you what – this phone call is the best phone call I’ve ever had.

“I’m so happy. It’s an amazing feeling.

“This really secures our future retirement.

“We’d love to do some overseas travel. We’ve already talked about going on a Mediterranean cruise!”

His marked 8-game entry was purchased at Palm Beach Newsagency, Shop 5A, Pavilions on 5th, 5 Fifth Avenue, Palm Beach.

Carrara man’s lawn mowing interrupted by Saturday Gold Lotto prize

A Carrara man’s lawn mowing has been interrupted by the news he scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

“You’re kidding! That’s awesome!” he exclaimed when his prize was confirmed by us.

“Hang on, I’ve got to write down that number.

“I’ve never got a phone call like this before!

“I’ve been playing for years and used to play some special numbers, but then I just decided to move to a QuickPick.

“This is such good news! At the moment, my mind is going loopy.”
