A hardworking Deer Park truck driver is looking forward to taking his foot off the pedal and relaxing after scoring a division
one prize worth over $1.1 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melbourne winner held one of the five division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4137, drawn Saturday 13 March 2021. Each entry won the division one prize of $1,165,537.35.

Although the entry was registered to a Tatts Card, officials from we had been unable to reach the winner on the contact details provided and had to wait for him to come forward to claim his prize.

Sharing his excitement with us this morning, the Victorian winner confessed he couldn’t comprehend the news.

“Hang on! Hang on! How much was that again?” he exclaimed.
“Holy sh*t! I’m shaking! I had no idea.

“I thought I might have won second or third division.

“I only check my ticket on Saturday when I get my ticket for the next week and do it all again.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for many years. Just random numbers I chose with a couple of birthdates thrown in. That’s about it!

“They are certainly special now! Damn oath!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy life as a newly-minted millionaire, the hardworking truck driver said the prize would go a long way.

“This will mean a lot. It takes a lot of the pressure off!” he declared.

“The first thing I’ll do is pay off the house and be debt-free.

“I’m shaking now, and I don’t know what to say. I’ll have to wait until it hits home to think about how else I’ll use it.

“I’ll keep on working. I’ve always said if I ever won TattsLotto, I’d keep working. I can’t sit around and not work!”

The winning entry was purchased at Burnside Lotto & News, Shop 14, 15-25 Westwood Drive, Burnside.

Burnside Lotto & News owner Thomas Wong said he was thrilled his winner had discovered the life-changing news.

“Congratulations to our winner!” he exclaimed.

“We hope the winner uses his windfall to do something great with his prize, and we wish him all the best!”
