A Langwarrin man has vowed he will continue to live an ordinary and humble life despite winning an unforgettable $1.4 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melburnian held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4315, drawn Saturday 26 November 2022, and took home $1,428,587.68.

Speaking with us this morning, the down-to-earth Victorian was still trying to come to terms with the revelation of his windfall.

“I’m numb – so numb!” he chuckled.

“My head is all over the place. I couldn’t even win a chook raffle!

“I went to check my TattsLotto ticket on Sunday morning, and I initially thought I had five numbers. I yelled out, ‘I’ve got five numbers!’.

“Then it hit me that I had six numbers and that I’d won division one!

“I can’t believe I woke up and went to work this morning after winning $1.4 million in TattsLotto, but here I am.

“I’ve had some good phone calls in my lifetime, but nothing comes close to this one.

“Today is just such a great day!

“It’s so surreal. It’s like I’m dreaming!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his life as a newly-minted millionaire, the hard-working man said he would continue to live life as normal.

“I will continue to live life normally. I’m not into fancy brands or fast cars,” he said.

“I’ll keep going to work until I decide what to really do.

“I really want this to go a long way, so I’ll seek financial advice.

“For the time being, I’ll frame my ticket and remember this for the rest of my life.”

His winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased at Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11, South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.
