They say you’re only as old as you feel, but which age group might be feeling like a Superdraw win this weekend?

With Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw back for this weekend, we’ve delved into last year’s winning data to find out what age took out the most division one wins across all lottery games in 2021.

Turns out it was players in their 60s who won the most major lottery prizes in 2021, with more than 30% of total wins.

However, players aged in their 50’s or under, took home almost half (48.12%) of all division one wins.

And proving that there’s still plenty of life to live as you get older, there was one player each in their 90s and 100s who scored a division one win in 2021.

It’s always fascinating to learn more about the division one demographics and we’re curious to see if these winning trends continue in this weekend’s Superdraw.

In March’s $20 million Superdraw, 16 entries took home division one, each enjoying a prize of $1.25 million.

Among this group, 12 players became overnight millionaires. The remaining four entries were syndicate entries.

Remember, lotteries are fun games of chance and no matter what your age, as long as you have an entry (and of course, are over the age of 18) there’s a chance a win could be in your future.

For your chance to become a millionaire and share in the Superdraw prize make sure you grab an entry today!

The above information is compiled from major prize wins across The Lott’s jurisdictions (New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, and Northern Territory) in Saturday Lotto, Monday & Wednesday Lotto, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Set for Life, Super 66, and Lotto Strike from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021.  Data only includes major prize winners with known birthday.
