Four days after X Lotto’s biggest event of 2017, the mystery Riverton winner has come forward to claim their prize of more than $1.4 million.

Throughout Australia, there were 21 entries that won a division one prize of $1.428 million in the $30 Million Megadraw (draw 3803) on Saturday 30 December 2017, with two falling in South Australia.

The winning entry was not registered to an Easiplay Club Card, which meant SA Lotteries officials had no way of contacting the winner with the life-changing news and had been waiting for them to make contact to claim their prize.

Exactly how the Riverton winner plans to spend 2018 as a millionaire will forever remain a mystery as they wish to stay completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning 18-game entry was purchased at Riverton Newsagency, 36 Torrens Road, Riverton.

Helen Taylor, owner of Riverton Newsagency, said she was thrilled to have sold the outlet’s first division one winning entry.

“It is a first for us so we are extremely excited!” she exclaimed.

“I think I was shaking more than if I had won it myself when I found out.

“After four days of searching we are so pleased the winner has come forward to claim their prize.

“It is just a lovely feeling knowing that someone in our community has won such an amazing prize.

“Congratulations to our winner, we wish them all the best with their new life as a millionaire!”

Of the 21 division one winning entries in Saturday’s Megadraw, four of the division one winning entries were purchased in Queensland, three from New South Wales, five from Victoria, two from Tasmania, two from South Australia, and five from Western Australia.

As well as the winning entry sold at Riverton Newsagency, the other South Australian entry was sold at OTR North Terrace in Adelaide.

The six winning numbers in the $30 Million Megadraw (draw 3803) on Saturday 30 December, 2017 were 6, 30, 9, 35, 27 and 37, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 14.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 225 so far this financial year, including 18 won by SA Lotteries customers.
