So far in 2020, there have been 68 Saturday Lotto division one winning entries across Australia.

From Mackay to Malvern, these wins have fallen far and wide across the country and we couldn’t be more excited for our players.

Every time our team calls to confirm these life-changing wins, we are met with everything from squeals of delight to stunned silence. And while no two phone calls are ever the same, sharing with loved ones ranks high as one of the first things each winner says they will do with their prize.

A young Warwick tradie told us he couldn’t wait to buy a fully air-conditioned house after scoring a division one prize worth almost $700,000 back in February at the end of a long, hot summer.

“I discovered the news in the early hours of Sunday morning. It was so hot, I couldn’t sleep and so I moved into the lounge room because it’s the only room with air conditioning.

“I’m going to buy myself a new ute and a new house and the house is definitely going to have air conditioning in every room!” he joked.

A Mackay larrakin couldn’t help but unleash some colourful language when he learnt he’d become a Saturday Lotto millionaire.

“Holy sh*t! Did I win one million dollars?” he questioned.

The North Queensland man shared he would use his win to pay off the mortgage and go on a holiday with his wife.

A Malvern woman confessed to us she “couldn’t stop crying” when she discovered her Saturday Lotto win.

“I am going to use the prize to help my family, that’s at the top of my list,” she explained.

Reflecting on the enormity of her windfall, the winner shared she couldn’t even begin to describe how much the win meant to her.

A Mount Cotton man described his win as a “miracle” given his family had only recently lost their home in the New South Wales bushfires.

“This really has come at the most incredible time,” he said.

“All that was left of the home was a few charred teacups. “We didn’t know if we would ever be able to rebuild but now we definitely can!”

Family birthdates inspired a Narre Warren South man’s $2.5 million winning entry. The Melbourne local shared he always knew one day he would win after playing his special numbers for years.

“I will talk to my wife and my sons about the win and we can decide how we will enjoy it together. “I want to help others with this win as well!”

While every Saturday Lotto winner is unique and no two reactions are similar, we do find a common thread between these winners: sharing.

While all winners revel in that winning feeling, when it comes to sharing a win with loved ones, it seems there’s no nicer feeling.
