Two Adelaide locals have found a way to beat the winter blues – discovering they both won a bright division one Saturday X Lotto prizes over the weekend.

McLaren Vale’s woman 25-year-old lottery numbers score big

A McLaren Vale woman has declared her Saturday X Lotto division one win ‘couldn’t have come at a better time’ as her bathroom was in desperate need of a renovation.

The South Australian held one of the 17 division one wining entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4265, drawn Saturday 4 June 2022. Each division one winning entry scored $319,939.66.

In addition to winning division one, the winner’s marked System 8 entry also scored division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering her total windfall to $325,108.66.

“Oh, wow! It’s not every day things like this happen!” she proclaimed.

“I wasn’t too sure if the winning news was true when I checked the ticket. This is great!

“I’ve played these numbers for 25 years, and it’s the first time I’ve seen them light up in a line – how fantastic.

“It’s always a pleasure to see two division one winners in South Australia, and I’m one of them!

“I’m retired now, and I’ve worked hard my whole life. This will give a great boost to little things I’ve wanted to complete for a while.

“I’ll probably re-invest half of the prize and spend the rest on a new van and a bathroom renovations!”

Her winning entry was purchased at Manfield Newsagency, Shop 22 / 130 Main Road, McLaren Vale.

Manfield Newsagency owner Vicki Harding said it was “fantastic” to sell a division one winning entry.

“It’s been a while. We’ve been here nearly 10 years, and this is the first division one winning entry we’ve sold. Hopefully, it’s the start of many more to come!” she said.

“I just hope it’s one of our regulars and I hope they enjoy it.”

Cowandilla player’s year made with division one win

A Cowandilla shopper has bagged more than bread and milk, also picking up a Saturday X Lotto ticket that scored a $319,939.66 division one prize.

However, how the winner plans to enjoy their good fortune will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

Their winning entry was purchased at Cowandilla Newsagency, 108 Bagot Avenue, Cowandilla.

Cowandilla Newsagency owner Bryant Gong said the entire team was celebrating the division one win.

“We’re so excited for our division one winner. When we found out, we went into celebration mode!” he said.

“I hope the winner comes into our outlet so we can congratulate them in person! Nevertheless, congratulations to the winner and we wish them all the best with their prize!

“A big thank you to all of our customers for their support and we hope to sell more division one winning entries in the future.”
