There’s a lot of variety behind Variety SA.

The children’s charity supports kids from all backgrounds who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disability, and just as every child is unique, so is the type of support that will give them the greatest chance at living their best life.

It’s all about finding the right avenue to meet unmet needs. Whether it’s mobility equipment and wheelchairs, communication and education aides, medical and therapy services, or scholarships and community events — Variety SA knows that help looks different for every child and finds pathways for families through challenging times.

For the second consecutive year, we’re donating $50,000 to Variety SA so that more Aussie kids are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of ability or background.

The Lott Partnerships Manager Ally Ramsamy said she’s proud of The Lott’s continuing contributions to Variety SA.

“Last year, Variety SA helped 30,000 kids across South Australia. That’s 30,000 kids who couldn’t access assistance elsewhere who were given a helping hand when they needed it most,” she said.

“The charity takes a tough situation and turns it around by giving kids independence, greater community connections, and increased self-esteem.

“The legacy of Australia’s official lotteries is changing lives for the better and making dreams a reality, so if we can help Variety SA do the same for these kids and their families, then that’s pretty special.”

Variety SA Chief Executive Officer Mark McGill said he was delighted to continue the partnership with The Lott.

“Variety SA is thrilled to accept another generous donation from The Lott,” he said.

“It’s because of the amazing support we receive from partners like The Lott that we can continue to better the lives of kids in need in South Australia.

“On behalf of all the children who will benefit from this kind donation, we say thank you to The Lott for making this possible.”
