Birthday gift delivers $25,000 Instant Scratch-Its windfall

A Kanwal man confessed he had no idea he’d been driving around with a $25,000 winning ticket in his car.

“It was a birthday present. My mum loves gifting Instant Scratch-Its,” he told us when finally claiming his prize.

“My birthday was in July. I read the card but didn’t scratch the Instant Scratch-Its ticket until about six weeks later.

“It was in my car the whole time!”

Electrifying $50,000 win delivers new electric car to Devonport couple

If six weeks seems like a long time to sit on a win, how about a whole year?! A Devonport couple declared they had to ‘wait for the right time to claim their winnings.’

“It’s great! We’d won it about 12 months ago,” the winning man explained.

“We made the decision to hold onto the ticket until we were in Queensland for a holiday. We preferred to claim the prize in person, rather than mailing it in.

“We haven’t celebrated yet, but we’re planning to purchase an electric car. Once that’s parked in the garage, maybe we will celebrate!”

Fantastic $200,000 lottery win sends Brookvale man flying

It wasn’t just our Instant Scratch-Its winners who took some time to unite with their prize.

A Brookvale man didn’t discover his Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize until three days after the draw.

“I went to buy another entry into the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw, and the team member at the newsagency told me that I had a major lottery win. I had absolutely no idea that I’d won!” he said.

“I’m going overseas in a month, and this has come at the most perfect time.

“I might even fly first class! It’s something I’ve always wanted to do.”

Saturday Lotto’s Superdraw creates new multi-millionaires

Our millionaire tally received a hefty boost this week, after 10 winning entries shared the $20 million Superdraw prize, pocketing a phenomenal $2 million each!

The draw took place on the eve of Father’s Day, making for an extra memorable weekend for some winning dads.

One Mackay man in his 20s shared how his Superdraw prize would support his loved ones.

“This has just come at the best time. I want to set up my young family and complete some renovations around the home,” he said.

Likewise, a Hobart man thought of his family first when he discovered his multi-million-dollar

“I’ll help my children first, and then after that, I don’t really know. Maybe some holidays around Australia,” he said.

No matter if it takes winners days, weeks, or months to discover their prize – there’s nothing better than sharing a  winning moment.

Hopefully we’ll be hearing your winning story soon!
