Just when a Glenelg man thought his holiday in Perth couldn’t get any better, he got the call of a lifetime informing him of some winning news.

“Far out! I’ve won $200,000?” the South Australian player cheered.

“Wow, this is crazy!

“I’m excited, shocked, and ecstatic! What a surprise to end my holiday – maybe Perth is my lucky place.”

Perhaps we should all take a quick trip to Perth!

Spur of the moment decision for Bundy couple

A Bundaberg couple were all smiles after a serendipitous purchase into the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw led to them scoring an $868,000 division one prize.

“You have no idea how much good this will do,” they said.

“We’re just so thankful.

“First thing is first; we’ll help out our family and we can’t wait to see the looks on their faces.”

Seaford woman can’t believe her luck

A Seaford woman proved you really do need to be in it for the chance to win it, explaining how she almost missed out on her winning ticket.

“It’s funny, I almost didn’t purchase the lottery ticket, but we were walking past the newsagency in Seaford, and we saw the Saturday X Lotto offer was $5 million, so we had to do it,” she said.

The woman checked her entry while watching a movie, only to encounter her own plot twist when she saw her $860,000 prize.

“We will celebrate with a bottle of champagne, and potentially go out for dinner this Saturday!”

Year made for Mona Vale woman

The most recent Play for Purpose raffle has left one overjoyed Mona Vale woman with the prize pack of a lifetime.

“What did I win? A VW California Beach and a shopping spree? Wow!” she exclaimed.

“I’d love to see more of Australia, so I can’t wait to get on the road. It’ll be a throwback to my younger years!

“Thank you so much! You’ve made my year.”

The woman purchased her winning raffle ticket in support of the Kids’ Cancer Project.
