A Keno winner from Adelaide said his wife will be managing a much larger household budget after he scored a $50,000 Keno Spot 8 prize yesterday!

The overjoyed winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Spot 8 marked Keno ticket from Market Plaza Chemmart, Shop 9, 61 Grote Street in Adelaide.

“I used my favourite number - lucky number 7! So I picked 7, 17, 27, 37… lots of 7’s!” the man explained.

The winner said the first thing he plans to do with his $50,000 windfall is hand it over to his wife!

“I’ll give the $50,000 to my wife to manage but I think we’ll be in the market for a unit!”

The winning Keno numbers in draw 2008890 on Tuesday 14 July 2015 were 74, 48, 27, 33, 78, 41, 29, 24, 17, 49, 79, 30, 37, 39, 28, 54, 38, 40, 7 and 80.

Where is Firle’s $50,000 Keno winner?

It’s been more than two months since a Keno entry won a $50,000 Spot 8 prize on Wednesday 13 May, but SA Lotteries is still searching for the missing ticket holder.

SA Lotteries spokesperson Claire Taylor is encouraging anyone who purchased a Keno entry from Firle Newsagency, Shop 7 at 193 Glynburn Road in Firle, to check it as soon as possible.

“It’s quite possible that this Keno player is completely unaware that they have a very valuable ticket in their possession and simply haven’t got around to checking it yet,” Ms Taylor said.

“Unfortunately, as they did not register their entry to an SA Lotteries Easiplay Club card, we’re unable to let them in on the good news!

”Anyone who believes that they may have the winning Keno Spot 8 ticket should keep it in a safe place and contact SA Lotteries as soon as possible to begin the process of claiming their prize.Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 8 top prize, a player must match all eight of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn. Keno draw results are available online at SALotteries.com.au.
