A self-confessed cat lover from Prahran is thanking his two ‘kitty cats’ after they inspired him to purchase a $200,000 winning entry in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.  

The Melbourne local in his 40s won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1255, drawn Friday 22 March 2019.  

When we spoke to the winner this morning to confirm his win, the winner recounted how he discovered the life-changing news.

“Wow! That’s amazing! I’m over-the-moon!” he exclaimed.  

“I saw the email letting me know I had won a prize but when I logged in and saw how much I had won I got so excited. I couldn’t even think straight. I was shaking!

“I’ve never won anything in my life! Actually, that’s not true! When I was young I won a free portrait but I never got it done!

“I’ll definitely be able to enjoy this prize!”

When we asked the overjoyed winner how he planned to enjoy his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the winner confessed he knew exactly what he would do with it.

“I have two cats and I am sick of hiding them from the landlord so it’s time I buy my kitty cats a house of their own,” he laughed.  

“It’s so hard to buy a house in Melbourne due to the extraordinary house prices so this will go a long way towards me getting a forever home.
