Junee retiree plans to ‘do a bit of everything’ with his Lucky Lotteries win
A retiree from Junee is happily planning a road trip around Australia after discovering he is $100,000 richer from the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The ecstatic man won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10252, drawn on Friday 19 October 2018.
As well as winning the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000, the man’s entry also scored a consolation prize of $1,000.
“Wow! Isn’t that fantastic?” he said with glee.
“I’m feeling unbelieveable! This is wonderful, just wonderful!
“I can’t tell you how happy we are! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
“Over the weekend it’s been on my mind constantly. I just kept checking my ticket and thinking ‘Is that right? It can’t be right’.
“I couldn’t start celebrating properly because I needed that confirmation – I didn’t want to get my hopes up.”
When asked how he planned to spend his win, the Junee retiree shared he had been happily dreaming of a road trip with his wife.
“We have been excitedly thinking about what we will do with it over the weekend!” he said.
“We will go on road trip around Australia and then go visit our children!
“We will do everything, holiday’s, renovations, all that stuff!
“It will help improve our retirement.”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of two consecutive numbers at Junee Newsagency, Corner Lorne Street & Humphrys Street, Junee.
Junee Newsagency co-owners Tanya Guinan and Christopher Allen said they were thrilled to have sold their second major winning ticket this year.
“It is exciting! This is our second big win this year,” she said.
“We are so happy for our customer. It is amazing news.
“It is great for the newsagency and now we can add another winning plaque to our wall.
“Hopefully we add a third win to the list soon. It would be awesome if one of our customers won the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot.”
