A Castle Hill woman is letting her kids take the day off school today to celebrate discovering she won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10349, drawn Friday 7 February 2020.

Speaking with us this morning, the giggling woman explained she had just checked her ticket and discovered her win.

“I saw all the confetti come down and I thought I must have won a small prize,” she shared.

“My eyes are always a little blurry in the morning, so I thought I was just misreading it when I saw all the zeros.

“Once I realised I had won I was running around the house screaming ‘I’ve won $100,000!’.

“My daughters are rapt because I said to them ‘get out of your uniforms, you’re not going to school’.

“We will be definitely going out to lunch and we will do something fun to celebrate. This is something that deserves celebrating.

“It is just awesome. Thank you so much!

“I read the stories about your winners all the time and now I am one of those winners! It’s the best feeling in the world.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her unexpected windfall, the excited woman admitted she had a few ideas.

“There’s so much I need to do around the house,” she explained.

“I want to get the family together to go on a holiday as well! We need to do something fun with it.”

The winning entry was purchased at Castle Hill Newsagency, Shops 9-10, 289 Old Northern Road, Castle Hill.

Castle Hill Newsagency owner Lisa Lin said she was thrilled to have made one of her customers $100,000 richer.

“We were very excited when we saw we sold that prize on Friday,” she said.

“It is such great news. We haven’t sold a major prize in a while, so hopefully this is the start of a winning streak.

“What a lucky customer. We are thrilled for her and wish her all the best with her prize.”
