Charlestown’s latest Lucky Lotteries winner dreaming of a white Christmas!
A Charlestown woman is excitingly dreaming of a white Christmas and a series of other family holidays after she discovered she is the region’s latest Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize winner.
The happy winner won the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10229, drawn 30 May 2018.
It’s the second 1st Prize winning Lucky Lotteries entry sold from Charlestown Square Newsagency during the past seven weeks.
When a NSW Lotteries official contacted the latest Charlestown winner to confirm her win, she couldn’t contain her excitement.
“Oh my god! I am at work, so I have to speak quietly, but normally I’d be much louder! I’d be screaming!” she said quietly.
“Oh my gosh this is amazing, honestly it is fantastic.
“I purchase a ticket every week, but never really thought I’d win! So thank you so much.
“I am going to have to try to concentrate today, so that is going to be hard.”
When asked how she planned to spend her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall, the thrilled woman revealed that travel was on the horizon.
“A holiday will be great!” she admitted.
“I’d love to take the kids to Europe for Christmas next year – it’ll be a lovely cold and white Christmas.
“Before that, I am thinking somewhere to enjoy the sun.
“I also was going to renew our cars and now I won’t need to borrow for it!”
The woman’s winning entry of one random number was purchased at Charlestown Square Newsagency, Charlestown Square, Shop G8016, Pearson Street, Charlestown.
Kim Spicer, manager at Charlestown Square Newsagency, said she was excited to have sold another Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize.
In April this year, another Charlestown Square Newsagency customer won the $200,000 1st Prize in a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
“How fabulous is it – we are on a real winning streak at the moment, we have sold a heap of big prizes lately!” she said.
“We are thrilled and so many of our customers are coming in and saying that we are a winning store.
“We will celebrate properly this afternoon with some coffee and cake.
“I am happy it went to one of our registered players. We really value our relationships with our customers and good service is so important to us, so it is so fabulous when one of them win.
“We are just so happy our customers are doing so well with their wins lately!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $12.76 million for draw 1100 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.36 million for draw 10230.
