A Wollongong family is preparing to board a plane to the happiest place on earth, after their grandmother won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw and promised to surprise her family with a trip to Disneyland!

The generous granny took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10274, drawn Thursday 28 February 2019.

When we broke the news to her this morning, she couldn’t contain her joy.

“Oh my! That’s just so wonderful!” she laughed.

“Thank you so much, that’s so fantastic!

“I got an email saying I’d won something and I thought if it’s a couple of hundred dollars I’ll buy a new vacuum cleaner.

“But $100,000, that’s just amazing. I’m very excited!”

The loving grandmother quickly realised her prize would go much further than buying the best vacuum cleaner on the market, and didn’t need long to think of how she’d spend the rest of her unexpected but welcomed windfall.

“I’ll definitely put this to very good use,” she shared.

“I’m going to take my children and grandchildren on a holiday to Disneyland!

“I’ll surprise them! It’s just so exciting!

“You’ve delivered one of the most exciting phone calls I’ve ever received in my life! Thank you so much!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of one random number at newsXpress Dapto, Shop 106, Dapto Mall, Princes Highway & Moombara Street, Dapto.
