A Kurri Kurri man has declared ‘it’s certainly a nice time to have a win’ after discovering he took home the 1st Prize of $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10380, drawn Thursday 21 May 2020.

This afternoon we called the winner moments after he had discovered his alluring $100,000 win.

“I was just checking my emails and I saw it said I had won.  I didn’t believe it, so I checked the draw results,” he explained.

“I was a bit shocked when I realised I had won. I couldn’t believe it! It didn’t feel real.

“It’s just incredible.

“It’s certainly a nice time to have a win.

“Honestly, it’s a big relief. Everything’s been all up in the air with COVID-19, and so this just gives me some security.

“Now you’ve confirmed it’s real and I am not just seeing things, I will definitely have a beer tonight.

“I think I will have to have a few more beers on the weekend too.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the thrilled winner said he wanted to enjoy his prize for many years to come.

“I would like to get a new car. I have no idea what type of car because it wasn’t something I have been looking for, but is certainly something I could use,” he shared.

“The rest I will invest for the future.”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of 5 random numbers at Kurri Kurri Newsagency, 132 Lang Street, Kurri Kurri.

This morning a Kurri Kurri woman discovered she won $10,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket that had also been purchased from Kurri Kurri Newsagency.

Kurri Kurri Newsagency co-owner Yan Zhang said he was thrilled to see another customer win a major prize.

“Wow, what exciting news,” he said.

“One of our customers won a top prize of $10,000 today on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket we had sold.

“We are feeling very lucky!

“They say good things come in threes so hopefully we sell another.

“We wish our winner all the best and hope they enjoy it.”
