Forget fine dining, a Campsie man is planning on heading to McDonald’s for a feast with his wife to celebrate winning more than $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10352, drawn Thursday 20 February 2020.

As well as winning the 1st Prize, the Sydneysider also won a consolation prize of $2,000 boosting his total win to $102,000.

We spoke to the winner this morning, who explained he’d checked his ticket last night and discovered his good fortune.

“Thank you so much!” he laughed.

“God bless you!

“When I checked my ticket last night and saw I’d won, I was ecstatic.

“But I had to keep calm because I didn’t know if it was real. I needed you to confirm it before I got too excited.

“I had to tell my wife. I couldn’t wait for it to be confirmed to tell her.

“She was so happy! I said we needed to wait until we knew it was real to celebrate. It just feels so surreal.

“Now I know it is real, we are definitely going to be celebrating!

“We are going to go and have a big feast at McDonald’s for dinner! We never eat it, but my wife loves it, so we thought why not.”

The excited winner explained his prize had come at the perfect time.

“We’ve been going through a really rough time, so this win will really help us so much," he explained.

“We have been wanting to buy our own home for so long, so we are going to put this straight towards a mortgage.”

The winning entry was purchased at B2K Newsagency, Shop 20, 18-24 Amy Street, Campsie.

B2K Newsagency owner Bryden Nguyen said he couldn’t be happier for his winner.

“It’s amazing news,” he said.

“We have been very lucky lately. This is the third major prize we have sold in just four months.

“We hope our winning streak continues for our customers. We are always so excited when we sell a major prize.

“Congratulations to our winner. We hope you enjoy your prize.”
