A Chipping Norton grandmother says she’s found herself in a dream ever since she realised her favourite six numbers were the exact numbers drawn in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The Sydney retiree held the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3892, on Monday 5 August 2019 and takes home the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.

Confirming her win with us this afternoon, the woman revealed she was still in shock from the life-changing news.

“Thank you!” she exclaimed.

“Oh my god! I’m a millionaire – isn’t that wonderful!

“I’m in a bit of a dream I think.

“I’m a bit numb. It’s unbelievable. I’m still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“Last night I was watching the television with my daughter and saw the winning lottery numbers come up.

“I saw them and thought to myself ‘they look like my Keno numbers’ but it wasn’t until this morning that I remembered my Keno numbers are also my lottery numbers!

“That’s when I realised I’d won. I’ve been playing those numbers for decades!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the generous grandmother thought of her family first.

“I’m going to pay off my children’s mortgages and I might get myself a nice new little car,” she said.

“I really want to look after my children - see them debt free for peace of mind.

“I don’t know if I’m even making any sense! I’m still so shocked!”

The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Nextra Moorebank, Shop 22-23, Moorebank Shopping Centre, 42 Stockton Avenue, Moorebank.

Nextra Moorebank owner Abbott Fattal said he hoped the outlet’s winning streak continued.

“We were very thrilled and happy when at five o’clock this morning we read we had sold a division one winning entry,” he said.

“All day our customers have been so excited for the winner, sending their congratulations to her.

“Over 36 years in this outlet we have sold more than 20 division one winning entries.

“Congratulations to the winner! We hope she enjoys her prize.”
