An Edensor Park shopper has just discovered their new millionaire status after checking their Monday & Wednesday Lotto ticket to realise they won $1 million last night.

The New South Wales entry was one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3925, on Wednesday 27 November 2019, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $1,000,000.

However, how the newly minted millionaire plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The million-dollar winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto ticket was purchased at Edensor Lotto & Post, Shop 11, Edensor Park Plaza, 215 Edensor Road, Edensor Park.

Edensor Lotto & Post owner Maria Poci said she thought she was seeing things when she read her outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

“We’re so excited that Edensor has now been put on the map,” she said.

“I nearly fell over this morning when I discovered the news.

“Congratulations to our winner. We’re all incredibly happy for them!”

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said while we might never know how the Edensor shopper planned to spend their prize she was sure it would be the perfect end to 2019.

“What an incredible way to round off the year by discovering you are now millionaire!” she exclaimed.

“No doubt our winner’s plans for the festive season will change when their bank account balloons by a few more zeros!

“Other winners tell us they love to share their windfall with their families, go on overseas holidays, pay off their mortgages or buy a new home.

“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall we are sure it has changed their lives forever!”
