A South Brisbane mum has been stopped in her tracks doing the school drop off by a million-dollar phone call confirming she was last night’s Gold Lotto division one winner.

The Queensland winner held the one and only division one winning entry across Australia in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4081, drawn on Wednesday 26 May 2021.

She takes home a division one prize of $1 million.

When we reached out to the unsuspecting winner this morning to break the news, she was in the car with her children and insisted on pulling over to take the call.

“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she screamed with happiness.

“Oh my goodness.

“Are you sure? Are you sure? Oh my god. Are you sure?

“I’m so emotional!

“Thank you, thank you.

“I am shaking. I can’t believe it.

“I am so happy!”

With $1 million coming her way, the winning mum knew exactly what she’d be doing with her prize.

“We’re going to buy a house,” she declared.

“Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness! I can’t believe I will finally be able to buy a house.

“Thank you!”

Her winning marked 8-game entry was purchased at The Tobacco Shop Coorparoo, 19 Harries Road, Coorparoo.

The Tobacco Shop Coorparoo team member Himesh Trikamji said he was over the moon to hear a local had taken home this prize.

“We are so happy for our winner!” he exclaimed.

“This is the first division one winning entry we’ve sold, and it’s so great to hear this prize has gone to one of our locals.

“Congratulations to her! We hope this is beginning of plenty of big wins for our customers.”
