Cygnet woman cruises away with a $6 million Powerball win!
A woman from Cygnet will soon be cruising the small Tasmania town in a brand new Aston Martin after winning the entire jackpot prize of $6 million in last night’s Powerball draw!
The winning woman will be embracing her new Powerball multi-millionaire lifestyle cruising the town in her new car ‘just like James Bond’ and cruising the world on cruise ships.
“I’m shaking! Oh my god! I’ve got all the numbers! That’s great – No, that’s absolutely fantastic!” the woman exclaimed when she received the dream-come-true phone call with the news.
“Oh god no, I never thought we’d win! My daughter won division one years ago, and we’ve had an aunty and friend that have also won – everybody around us – I said we’ll never ever win. But now we’ve done and trumped them all!
“I’ll take off on holidays! I love cruising – so I think we might do a world cruise trip to the ends of the world!
“I’ll trade my car in and buy something I really want! I can afford an Aston Martin I’ve always dreamed of – the one James Bond used to drive!”
Tasmania’s newest millionaire, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her division one winning 12-game QuickPick entry online via theLott.com – Australia’s official online lottery.
Throughout Australia, it was the only entry that won first division in Powerball draw 1067 on Thursday 27 June.
The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1067 were 38, 21, 17, 36, 16 and 2, and the all-important Powerball number was 7.
Powerball will offer a $3 million division one prize in Thursday’s draw.
