A Quakers Hill man says the timing of his Saturday Lotto division one win couldn’t have been more perfect as he plans for an unforgettable 2021. 

The Sydney player held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4109, drawn Saturday 5 December 2020. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $906,269.30. 

Oblivious to his win, the man admitted he’d been accidentally screening calls from lottery officials trying to confirm his win because he didn’t recognise the phone number. 

“Are you kidding me?” he began to question when his prize was revealed. 

“Are you for real? “Thank you so much. This is unbelievable. 

“I’m lost for words at the moment. This is amazing! 

“Oh my god. I’m shaking so much. 

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for four years. I can’t believe they’ve all been drawn! 

“I saw I had a bunch of missed calls from this number, but I hadn’t been picking up because I didn’t recognise it. 

“I’m so glad I did eventually!” 

When asked how he planned to enjoy his division one fortune, the happy man said he felt as though things had suddenly turned around. 

“This is the best timing because this has been the worst year for me, just like for so many other people,” he said. 

“I’m going to take a big break and put on a big party for my family and friends. 

“I’ll be able to help some of my friends out as well. 

“This is massive for me. It’s going to be a big help!”
