A Brighton East woman has declared “life is great” after today discovering she won division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Victorian winner held one of the 27 division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto’s $20 Million Superdraw, draw 4061 on 20 June 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $740,740.75.

Confirming her win with our team, the overwhelmed woman relayed how the excitement unfolded.

“I am still in a bit of shock!” she exclaimed.

“I am not a regular player. I just play whenever there is a big draw.

“It’s crazy, I just got a ticket and the rest is history!

“I never actually thought I would win division one. I was just at home alone and I scanned my ticket to see if I had won something small and I saw I had all the winning numbers.

“I probably scanned it a million times. Since no one was home I couldn’t ask them to check it. I couldn’t believe it.

“I thought ‘oh my god, I have won division one’. I was so shocked.

“I had a quiet drink on my own and called a few people to tell them.

“I am going to do a bit of a small celebration this weekend. I can’t do too much at the moment, but it will still be great.

“It really is great! Life is great! I just really need to let it sink in.”

When asked how she intended to enjoy her prize, the stoked winner said she would be spending the weekend making exciting plans.

“I don’t really know what I am going to do with my prize. I would love to do some travelling around Australia and go to the Northern Territory,” she shared.

"I guess that’s something I now need to think about! I am sure I will do lots of fun things with it.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at North Road Lotto & Post, 609 Hawthorn Road, Brighton East.

North Road Lotto & Post owners Jenny and Charlie Jiang said they were thrilled their winner had claimed her prize.

“That’s fantastic news,” Jenny said.

“We couldn’t be happier for our winner. We hope she really enjoys her prize and can make some exciting plans for the rest of the year.”

“The last time we sold a major prize winning entry was in March last year,” Charlie said.

“Hopefully we can make some more of our customers major prize winners. We always get so excited when our customers win.”
