A Cronulla man admits he was so stunned by the revelation he’d won division one in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw that he didn’t know what to do with himself except to do the dishes.

The southern Sydney man held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4111, drawn Saturday 12 December 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home $883,981.39.

When we reached out the winner, he declared he’d been on a cleaning frenzy since discovering his prize.

“I’m pretty darn good,” he exclaimed.

“I checked my ticket this morning. I actually had two tickets in the weekend’s draw. I checked the first one and it had won $8.40 and then I checked the next one. Wow!

“I have the ticket in my pocket right now. I haven’t let it out of my sight!

“I’ve had trouble concentrating since I found out. I’ve been cleaning the house. I’ve just done the dishes. I just don’t know what to do with myself. What are you supposed to do when you win Lotto?”

The ecstatic winner declared the windfall meant his plans for 2021 were about to be rewritten.

“A prize like this just means a new year with lots of new possibilities,” he said.

“We’ll be able to buy a new house and upgrade a few things – just do things we never thought we’d be in a position to be able to do. “It’s the best feeling and we can’t wait for 2021!”

The winner purchased his entry at Bundeena Newsagency, Shop 2, 32-34 Brighton Street, Bundeena.
