So far this year, 56 winning entries have scored an exciting Superdraw division one prize across four exciting Saturday Lotto special events. However, with a number of these entries held by groups of happy syndicate players, the total number of Aussies sharing in a Superdraw windfall in 2020 is well over 100!

Syndicates are a fun way you can play Saturday Lotto as part of a group or a team. This could be your family members, workmates, or even others in your local community. Members of the syndicate pool their money to buy a bigger entry, which can mean more  chances of winning. If your syndicate wins, the prizes are shared amongst all team members!

There’s been a division one winning syndicate entry in every Superdraw this year, making for plenty of excitement and quite the spread of thrilled Aussies delighting in a division one win.

In May, a group of ten Melburnians had their Monday blues obliterated after discovering they’d scored a $1.8 million Superdraw prize. Each member took home a share worth more than $180,000!

The Superdraw in June saw a shower of Syndicate winners with both a party of five from Seaford, South Australia and a winning group from Newcastle, New South Wales scooping up a Superdraw win.

Mark McNally, a team member from Marketown Newsagency where the winning Newcastle syndicate entry was sold, said he was thrilled to see the win shared among so many of his local and regular customers.

“Just goes to show, syndicates can be the way to go if you’re happy to share your prize,” he said.

“We do get quite a few people who say they don’t mind sharing and I tell them about the syndicates. ‘Go for your life’, that’s what I always say.”

The biggest division one winning Superdraw syndicate so far this year was a group made up of 89 Sydney-siders

But even two can play at this game. In July, a duo of workmates from Traralgan scored a division one win on their private Syndicate and each became a millionaire!

“We didn’t realise we had won until we got into the office and checked the ticket,” one of the winning colleagues said.

“I’ll keep working, but my workmate is going to retire with her share.”

In addition to our syndicate winners, 26 millionaires have been created thanks to this year’s Saturday Lotto Superdraws. Collectively, all Superdraw division one winners have shared in $80 million worth of division one prize money.

Now with 2020’s fifth Superdraw Saturday just around the corner, you too could be pocketing a slice of the super-sized $20 million division one prize pool.
