A Findon family man is looking forward to popping champagne and celebrating with his loved ones after scoring a $410,000 division one win in Saturday’s X Lotto draw.

The Adelaide resident held one of the 12 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4051, drawn Saturday 16 May 2020. Each division one winning entry takes home a prize of $410,606.71.

Sharing his excitement with our team, the generous winner revealed he knew exactly how he would use his windfall.

“I’m going to split it up!” he declared.

“I’m going to give some to my grandchildren and my children and then keep a bit for me!

“I play every week, but I’ve only ever won smaller divisional prizes. But that does not stop me checking the results in the paper every Sunday morning.

“That’s what I did on the weekend. It was pretty good to see my numbers come up!”

When asked how he planned to celebrate, the generous family man confessed he couldn’t wait to enjoy the win with his loved ones.

“We are all getting together later in the week to pop some champagne and celebrate!” he declared.

“I can’t wait to see my family and enjoy sharing it with them.”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry at Rex’s Findon Newsagency, Shop 11, 303 Grange Road, Findon.

Rex’s Findon Newsagency manager Kirsten Hoare said she was over the moon for her winner.

“This is such great news for our lucky customer! What a ripper!” she exclaimed.

“We have posters and balloons up in store! We might even pop some champagne to celebrate too!

“There has been a lot of excitement amongst the customers. They have all been wondering if it’s their entry. We are so happy we’ve found our winner.

“The last time we sold a major prize was last year when we sold a Keno Spot 10 $2.1 million prize. That was crazy and this feels just as good!

“We’ve been a family-owned outlet for over 30 years and there have been many division one wins during that time.

“We hope there are plenty more for our customers!

“Congratulations to our winner! It’s always great to see it go to a local.

“We hope he enjoys his life-changing win!”
