Eleven “happy campers” from Campsie have shared a Saturday Lotto division one prize worth more than $1.7 million, with some players yet to discover their winning news.

The store syndicate, called “New Car”, was one of the 12 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3995, drawn Saturday 2 November 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,666,666.67.

In addition to winning division one, the group syndicate’s marked System 11 entry also won division three 30 times and division four 150 times, bolstering the syndicate’s total prize to $1,701,789.17. Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $154,708.11.

However, as some of the 11 syndicate members hold unregistered entries, we have no way to contact them and they may have yet to discover their division one winning news.

The division one winning store syndicate was sold at B2K Newsagency, Shop 20, 18-24 Amy Street, Campsie.

B2K Newsagency owner Bryden Nguyen said he was relishing the winning news and couldn’t wait for all the syndicate members to check their tickets.

“It’s excellent! I’m so excited. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time,” he said.

“We put on this syndicate for every Superdraw. We’ve been doing this for years. So there are 11 happy campers in Campsie today.

“This syndicate is called ‘New Car’ but I’m sure the syndicate members will find lots of ways to spend their share.

“We’ve been here eight years and this is the first division one winning entry we’ve sold. We can’t wait to do it again soon.”

We encouraged anyone who purchased an entry into the weekend’s Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw to check their entries as soon as possible. Previous syndicate winners have told us there’s no better cure for Mondayitis than discovering a Saturday Lotto win!
