“I needed some good luck!” declares Kew man after $906,000 TattsLotto win
A Kew man has declared the $906,000 division one win he scored in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw was the good luck he had been waiting for all year.
The Melbourne man held one of the seven division one winning entries in draw 4109, drawn Saturday 5 December 2020. Each entry takes home a division one prize worth $906,269.30.
Sharing his excitement with us this morning, the happy winner said the win was the perfect early Christmas present.
“That’s great! Thank you very much!” he exclaimed.
“I needed some good luck to come my way after a long year, and this is it!
“I had no idea I had won until I checked my ticket in-store today.
“I knew something was up when they suggested I give you a call but didn’t realise it was a division one win.
“I’ve played every Saturday for years and never won anything like this!”
The thrilled man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 24-game QuickPick entry at Lucky Draw Lotto, Shop SB093, Preston Market, Earle Street, Preston.
Lucky Draw Lotto owner Erina Torikov said she was thrilled her outlet had sold another division one winning entry.
“We’ve sold a few division one winning entries over the last couple of years. The last was a $3 million Powerball prize – which was also our biggest!’ she exclaimed.
“We’ve been telling all of our customers we’ve sold a division one win and we’ll be popping posters up all over the store to celebrate.
“We are really happy for our winner! We would have been happy for any of our customers to win, but it’s always great when it’s a regular!
“We wish him all the best with his prize. It’s great timing for him to win with everyone coming out of lockdown just before Christmas. We hope he enjoys every minute of it!”
