A Bundaberg woman has spent the night lying awake, planning exactly how she’ll enjoy her  $1.3 million lottery windfall.

The regional Queenslander held one of the five division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4183, drawn Saturday 21 August 2021. Each division one winning entry took home $1,304,946.92.

Sharing her shock with us this morning, the woman explained she was still struggling to believe the news.

“I’m still shaking,” she cried with happiness.

“Thank you. Oh my god.

“This is massively life changing.

“I checked my ticket at midnight last night because I couldn’t sleep.

“When the prize appeared on my phone I thought, ‘No, no that can’t be right!’.
“I can’t believe this is happening.

“Wow. Wow. I am still stunned.

“I’ve dreamt about winning  Lotto just like everyone else in Australia. I never thought it would actually happen to me!”

With a division one lottery fortune about to hit her bank account, the woman explained she’d finally be able to retire.

“I’ll pay the mortgage off to begin with and then quit my job,” she declared.

“I’ll also help out some family and friends and invest the rest so I can retire and enjoy myself.

“It will be amazing!”

The life-changing entry was purchased at North Bundy News, Shop 6a, Northway Plaza Shopping Centre, 23-33 Queen Street, North Bundaberg.

North Bundy News owner Rolf Fuernsinn said the exciting win was overdue for the community.

“This is such great news,” he said.

“We haven’t sold a division one winning entry since 2013 so we are really happy.

“This is a fantastic result for our customer and we’re so happy to be part of the process of selling this ticket to her!”
