A Knox City shopper has had a flying start to the week after their entry into Saturday TattsLotto draw yielded them a prize worth over $2.2 million.

The Melbourne resident held one of the nine division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3933, drawn Saturday 30 March 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.

However, how the player plans to spend their TattsLotto windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The elusive winner purchased their winning entry at Knox City Newsagency, Shop 2080 Westfield Knox, 425 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South.

Knox City Newsagency owner Dennis Lim said he was thrilled his outlet had sold a division one winning entry.

“It’s been a few years since we’ve sold a division one winning entry so it feels as though our prayers for another one have been answered!” he exclaimed.

“We will be celebrating in store. Our customers will be happy to hear we’ve sold a division one winning entry although I am sure some might be disappointed it wasn’t them.

“We’ve sold four division one winning entries over the past 14 years, with the last landing in September 2015.

“We are always happy to see our customers win. Congratulations to our customer – we wish them all the best!”
