More than a month after the draw, a Mossman woman has come forward to claim her Saturday Lotto Superdraw fortune after re-discovering her division one winning ticket in her draw.

The Sydney retiree held one of the 27 division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw, draw 4061 on 20 June 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $740,740.75.

Confirming her win with us this morning, the mystery winner confessed she’d forgotten she had an entry into the draw.

“It’s exciting!” she exclaimed.

“It’s a bit of shock but a good shock of course.

“I had completely forgotten the ticket was tucked away in my drawer.

“I kept checking it over and over and wondering if it was true.

“I’ve been playing Lotto for decades and I am very pleased!”

While almost three-quarters of a million dollars is about to land in her bank account, the Sydneysider admitted she’d yet to decide how she’d enjoy her prize but hinted her family would also benefit from her good fortune.

“Well I’m not really sure at the moment,” she said.

“I will have to have a good think.

“I do have a lot of grandchildren I can share it with!”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her division one winning entry at The Lucky Charm Centrepoint, Shop 2017/17A Westfield Sydney, 188 Pitt Street, Sydney.

The Lucky Charm Centrepoint owner Sam Axiotis said he was happy to hear the winner had come forward to claim her prize.

“We’re so happy for our customer,” he said.

“We’ve been waiting patiently for someone to claim their prize, so we’re glad the winner has now been found.

“We hope this is the beginning of many more big wins for our customers.

“Congratulations to her!”
