A Quakers Hill woman who today discovered she won division one in Saturday Lotto declared she’s going to go on a holiday to Hawaii – but it’s still going to be on a budget.

The Sydney player held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 3979, drawn Saturday 7 September 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $573,928.68.

Speaking with us this morning, the happy winner declared her division one was ‘life changing’.

“That is unbelievable!” she laughed.

“This is so incredible. What a nice surprise for a Monday!

“It has come at a great time.

“You have no idea how much this means to me.

“I will have to have a drink tonight to celebrate.

“This is life-changing for me.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the thrilled winner admitted she had plenty of ideas.

“I am going to put it on the mortgage, and I want to do some renovations on my house,” she explained.

“I would love to help my family and go on a holiday to Hawaii too.

“It will still be a budget holiday though! I want my prize to last.”

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Quakers Court Newsagency, Shop 5, Quakers Court Shopping Centre, Corner of Quakers Road and Falmouth Road, Quakers Hill.

Quakers Court Newsagency owner Jeff Shen said he was thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry.

“We were very excited when we discovered we had sold a division one winning entry,” he said.

“We will be decorating our outlet with balloons, posters and streamers and we are going to celebrate this wonderful news with all of our customers.

“We are thrilled that we have helped make one of our lucky customers dreams come true and we wish her all the best with her winnings.

“Hopefully we sell more division one winning entries to our customers soon.”
