Richmond woman’s dream comes true with million-dollar Saturday Lotto win
A Richmond woman has come forward to claim her million-dollar Saturday Lotto windfall describing the winning moment as a dream come true.
The New South Wales player held one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4091 on Saturday 3 October 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,227,293.97.
Confirming her weekend win with us this afternoon, the overwhelmed winner said the news was still sinking in.
“Thank you,” she managed eventually.
“I’m very, very happy.
“I play religiously every Saturday, so I just can’t believe it.
“I’ve always dreamt of this happening one day and now it finally has.
“I checked my ticket over and over again. I didn’t think it was real.
“It’s an amazing feeling!”
The new millionaire had already decided exactly what she’d be doing with her fortune.
“This will really set me up for the rest of my life,” she said.
“I’m going to buy a house. That’s something that I didn’t think I’d be able to achieve and now I will.
The winner purchased her life-changing entry at Richmond Marketplace Newsagency, Shop 42, Richmond Marketplace, 78 March Street, Richmond.
