Saturday Gold Lotto win sends Robina man’s heart racing
A Robina man has declared there was no need to go to the gym this morning as the revelation he scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw was more than enough to send his heart racing.
The Gold Coast resident held one of the 11 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4105, drawn Saturday 21 November 2020. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $549,405.38.
Recounting the shock of his discovery to us, the ecstatic winner said it had been a morning he’d never forget.
“I only just found out!” he exclaimed.
“I was supposed to go to the gym, but I thought I would check my ticket. I just had an inkling to check it.
“When I saw it, my heart skipped a beat.
“I immediately woke up my wife. She was in shock and probably thought she was still dreaming.
“This is so cool!
“I didn’t make it to the gym. There’s no way I would have been able to concentrate. But I’ve probably burnt the same amount of calories from the excitement!”
The Queensland dad plans to invest all of his prize so that it can provide for his family for many years to come.
“We’re not touching it. One hundred per cent will go towards buying an investment property. I would rather set us up now so we can relax down the track,” he said.
The life-changing ticket was purchased at newsXpress Robina Town Centre, Shop T476, Ground Floor Market Hall, Robina.
newsXpress Robina Town Centre owners Karen & Graham Randall said they love the excitement that lottery wins bring to the community.
“We love sharing this incredible news with our customers,” they said.
“Our whole team is so excited. We’ve sold so many division one winning entries over the years and it never gets old.
“Last year we sold a massive $40 million winning Oz Lotto ticket to one of our customers, that was something we will never forget.
“We would love to wish our winners all the best with their big win, spend it wisely and enjoy this moment of opportunity!”
