A Sefton Park man declared he ‘just can’t believe it’ after being informed he was one of three Saturday X Lotto division one winners in the state taking home a prize of $669,308.39!

The ecstatic man was still over-the-moon when SA Lotteries was able to officially confirm the life changing news after he’d checked his ticket five days after the draw.

The sudden increase to his bank balance was clearly still sinking in with the winning man declaring he was in shock.

“I can’t believe it! I can’t believe it! I think I’m in shock!” the man laughed.

“This is absolute heaven… the best day ever.”

The long-time player shared he’d never actually expected to win and felt greatly relieved to join the division one club.

“It’s such a relief to finally hit the big one! So many things will no longer be an issue,” the man told an SA Lotteries official.

“To live comfortably will be a big relief – I’m still stunned,” he laughed.

“I’d completely forgotten about the ticket and only ended up checking it when running some errands.

“It’s just the best news ever – I can’t wait to tell my family!”

The man, who wishes to stay anonymous, purchased his 18-Game Marked entry at Sefton Plaza Newsagency, Shop 7, Sefton Plaza Shopping Centre, 231 Main North Road, Sefton Park.

Linkin Yang is the manager of Sefton Plaza Newsagency and was thrilled to sell another division one entry.

“Oh wow! That’s fantastic news – what a beauty,” Mr Yang said.

“It’s been around two years since our last division one winning entry so it’s good the luck is getting around again.”

Since the winning man didn’t register his entry to an Easiplay Club Card, it took five days for him to receive the life-changing news that he’d won $669,308.39 in Saturday X Lotto draw 3741 on Saturday 27 May.

The six winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 3741 on Saturday 27 May 2017 were 42, 45, 17, 15, 24 and 18. The supplementary numbers were 35 and 36.

Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 3741 that each won a division one prize of $669,308.39.It was a winning weekend for South Australia where three of the tickets were sold, along with two in Queensland and one in Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 377 so far this financial year, including 30 won by SA Lotteries customers.
