A Sanctuary Point man has had a sleepless night dreaming of all the wonderful ways he’ll enjoy his million-dollar Saturday Lotto division one prize.

The New South Wales resident held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 3967, drawn Saturday 27 July 2019. Each division one winner takes home a division one prize of $1 million.

Confirming his win with us this morning, the winner revealed he hadn’t slept a wink since discovering the life-changing news.

“That’s great isn’t it,” he laughed.

“I feel over-the-moon. I couldn’t sleep last night.

“I’m at work today but I can’t concentrate.

“I checked my ticket yesterday afternoon at the newsagency and I couldn’t believe it!

“I scanned my ticket and the machine told me to go to the counter which I thought was a little bit unusual.

“When the staff behind the counter told me it was a division one winning entry, my eyes just about popped out of my head.

“The news is slowly sinking in!”

The hardworking man said his unexpected windfall meant he’d finally be able to realise some life-long dreams.

“My life is going to completely change. This is going to help me in a lot of different ways,” he said.

“I’ll finally be able to own my very own home, which is a wonderful feeling. I was thinking about it all night.

“I’m going to buy a nice car as well. This is completely life changing.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his division one winning entry at Sanctuary Point Newsagency, Shop 4, 206 Kerry Street, Sanctuary Point.

Sanctuary Point Newsagency owner Kim Battagliolo said she was thrilled to know her customer had become a millionaire.

“We are just so happy for our lucky customer and all our customers are over-the-moon for both us and the winner,” she said.

“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in 2014 so this was the best news and we hope it’s the start of many more wins for our outlet.

“Congratulations to our customer and may this be the start of a happy and bright future!”
