A Southern Highlands woman has explained she won’t spend another second worrying about her expensive electricity bills after checking her Saturday Lotto ticket on Sunday morning to discover she’d woken up a millionaire.

The regional New South Wales winner held one of the six division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4121, drawn Saturday 16 January 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $1,052,281.12.

Confirming her life-changing win with us this morning, the woman explained she was still in complete disbelief.

“Oh my god!” she cried with happiness.

“I just can’t believe it!

“I am beside myself. I can’t sleep. I can’t do anything.

“I’m in shock. I always thought things like this just don’t happen to people like me. It’s so exciting!

“I went to pay the electricity bill on Sunday morning and I’d been avoiding paying it all weekend because it was a really big one and when I was on the computer I thought I’d better check my Lotto ticket.

“I typed in the ticket number and when the amount came up I started screaming and crying and carrying on.

“It’s unbelievable. I am so happy.

“It still hasn’t sunk in. I’m walking around in a complete daze!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her million-dollar prize, she said she’d relish the financial freedom.

“I’ll pay off my mortgage and just contemplate the rest for a little while,” she explained.

“Until the money is in my bank account, I don’t think I can believe it.

“It’s going to be the biggest help ever. It really couldn’t have come at a better time.

“It’s wonderful, absolutely wonderful!”

The life-changing 50-game QuickPick was purchased at Cameron’s Newsagency, 315 Bong Bong Street, Bowral.
