A Smithfield woman is looking forward to seeing snow for the first time after scoring division one in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.

The Adelaide local held one of the ten division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 3989, drawn Saturday 12 October 2019. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $382,311.53.

When we confirmed the win, the woman took a moment to take in the out-of-the-blue news.

“Oh my god! I am going to faint! You don’t know what this means to me!” she exclaimed.

“It has come at a brilliant time for me. I’ve had a tough year.

“I’ve been playing every week for the past 36 years and this is the first time I’ve won anything major.

“I just can’t believe it. I’m walking around in a daze right now.

“I’m speechless. I just don’t know what to do!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her Saturday X Lotto windfall, the thrilled woman declared it would help with ‘all sorts of things’.

“The win is a bit of a god send as it will help me pay off a few bills which will mean I am able to relax,” she said.

“I’ll certainly make sure there is enough leftover for me to have a holiday.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Canada for a snow holiday. I’ve never seen snow, so this is the perfect time and the perfect excuse to go!”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 36-game QuickPick entry at Munno Para Newsagency, Shops 17-19, Munno Para Shopping Centre, Main North Road, Smithfield.

Munno Para Newsagency team member Kyralie McCartney said she was thrilled another one of the outlet’s customers had scored division one.

“We are thrilled! We’ve sold a few division one and major prizes over the past year with the last division one win in early 2019,” she explained.

“We are excited another customer has scored such a great prize.

“We will be celebrating in store with our customers all week.

“Congratulations to our winner! We wish them all the best with their prize!”
